Thrudbowl 2021 is open

Tickets for Thrudball 2021

We're really pleased to say that tickets for Thrudball 2021 are now on sale following the most recent announcements by the British government. With the expectation that all restrictions will have been lifted, we can now start selling tickets. Despite the positive news, we're still planning for the event to be Covid safe, and we'll be providing all coaches with their own bottle of hand sanitiser and mask. We're also asking that players only touch their own models and do not share dice.

We're expecting to release more tickets soon, but for now, the first 50 have been made available. Just follow the link below to sign up.

Remember, this is the best Blood Bowl experience you will ever have, brought to you this year by SquadChaos. The event will take place on the 14th and 15 August 2021 just outside of Swindon, and, as you would expect, it is a NAF sanctioned event. There's free camping on site and we'll have all of the usual shenanigans; six games of Blood Bowl, the auction, a raffle, most Thrudlike and more.

The rules are still in the final stages of testing, but as you'd expect, they're staying fairly similar to previous years. The only real difference is that for reasons of contagion control, Thrud has stopped wandering and can instead be bought by teams as a normal star player (more details to follow, but who wouldn't want his tiny headedness helping them to glory?).

We're hoping to see you there, but if you can't make it, or if you're looking for even more Thrudball action, why not take a look at the Road to Thrud

The Road to Thrud

In conjunction with Fumbbl, SquadChaos is going to be running the Road to Thrud; a six round tournament on Fumbbl's online platform. It'll take place in the run up to Thrudball in July and early August and will use the same ruleset as the table top tournament.

We're asking participants to make a £5 donation to Thrudball in order to join the Road to Thrud. As always, this will be split between our charities: the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation and Mind, the mental health charity.

A message from SquadChaos

We can't wait to see you all in person, but if you fancy something in the meantime, SquadChaos are running regular Fumbbl tournaments, getting together for hobby evenings and just generally being a great place to let off some steam and grab some support if you need it. If you want to come along, just pay us a visit at our Discord server.

Stay safe, look after yourself, and best wishes.
