Vendor Code of Conduct
In exchange for a suitable donation, the ThrudBall committee may grant permission for third party Vendors to sell their own products at the event.
All Vendors must conform to this code of conduct.
Compliance with Laws, Regulations, and Ethical Standards: Vendors must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards in their business practices. Vendors must also abide by the principles outlined in ThrudBall's Coaches Code of Conduct, which can be found at https://www.thrudball.com/rules/coaches-code-of-conduct.
Quality of Products
Vendors are expected to provide high-quality products that are safe for use and meet all applicable regulatory requirements.
Intellectual Property
Vendors must not sell counterfeit, stolen, or illegal products, and must respect IP held by companies and individuals.
Fair Pricing
Vendors must price their products fairly and competitively, and not engage in price gouging or other unethical pricing practices.
Business Conduct
Vendors must conduct themselves with professionalism, honesty, and integrity, and treat customers, event staff, and other vendors with respect.
Compliance with Event Rules
Vendors must comply with all event rules and respect the Schedule, including those related to setup and teardown, display of products, and hours of operation.
Cleanliness and Sanitation
Vendors must maintain a clean and sanitary environment for their products and are expected to dispose of any and all rubbish generated from their stand.
Stands
Vendors are responsible for setting up and breaking down their own stands.
Responsibility for Behaviour
Vendors are responsible for the behaviour of their staff and must ensure that their staff conduct themselves in a professional and appropriate manner.
Timeframe for Business
All business should be completed within the timeframe of the ThrudBall charity event.
Pre-Orders and Postal Orders are to be enacted at the risk of the Vendor/Customer
Non-Compliance
ThrudBall reserves the right to deny future vendor licences to any vendor who breaches this code of conduct.
