Hello Thrudball fans!
In this edition of our newsletter we'll explain more about how the ticket sales process works this year
We've made some improvements to the ticket booking process this year.
The first change is that we've moved to an alternative information gathering tool, which should make it much easier to fill out on handheld devices. As previously mentioned this new form can be used to book up to 4 main tournament tickets per submission. You may also order multiple 7s tickets, food only tickets and goody bags.
Bookings for non-UK residents open on Thursday 26th March 2026 at 09:00 UK time when we'll publish a link to the booking form on the Thrudball Website.
For UK residents, tickets will be available for sale at 09:00 on Saturday 28th March 2026 and allocated on a first come, first serve basis once both the form, and full payment are received while places and stocks last.
Important! Please do not order tickets before this time as requests will not be accepted and any payments made refunded. You'll also be required to resubmit your payment, effectively placing it at the back of the queue.
If you're ordering multiple tickets, please ensure you tell us their names, NAF names, contact phone numbers and dietary restrictions in the appropriate field on the form.
The form will also provide a sum of the total cost of selected options, and will send you an email with a summary including the total plus details of our PayPal address for payment. Please note we only accept payment using the 'friends and family' option - we will need to request a top-up payment for any payment sent using 'goods and services' option as there will be a shortfall due to fees.
Lastly, the refunds policy is available on the Thrudball website which explains how we handle cancellations
Many coaches will be delighted to learn we're also attempting to move away from google sheets as a tool for roster submission.
We will be communicating the process and a deadline for supplying your roster in the very near future.
Did we mention we now have a Dizzy Thrud? A conversion kit is available via Cults3D for those of you with access to 3d Printers, which allows you to bring our official Anniversary Thrud model onto the pitch.
Thrud himself is available from Footsore Miniatures
Should you require any other star players for your team this year, please also check out our back catalogue over at the Thrudball Shop
If you made it this far, you have stamina similar to that of Thrud himself!
Looking forward to seeing you all in August!
Love, The Admins.
