Once again, SquadChaos are running Thrudball, and we’re hoping to see as many of you there as possible on the weekend of the 5th and 6th August 2023.

The event is run out of Swindon in the UK - if you don't know, that's really easy to get to from anywhere, being less than two hours drive from London, Cardiff, Southampton and Birmingham. 

Every year, money raised by Thrudball is donated to charity, and in 2022, we managed to give away £12,000. This year, we will be giving money once again to the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, as well as MIND, the mental health charity.

Sadly, Thrudball has also been feeling the pinch due to the cost of living crisis. Sadly, for the first time in five years, we have had to increase the cost of the ticket, which is now £65 for a playing ticket and £35 for a food only tocket. We have taken this incredibly difficult decision to ensure that we raise as much as possible for charity, while not compromising on the quality of the weekend, and we’re proud of what we’re able to include:

• 6 Games of Blood Bowl

• Thrudball Star Players like Thrudsquig, Gymir and Drunken Thrud himself

• Three meals on the Saturday and two on the Sunday

• Free on site camping Friday through to Monday

• Player pack including free gift

• Access to a Bonus Bag of swag

• Access to a Sevens tournament on the Friday night

• Blood Bowl vendors in the hall

• Halfling Bake Sale

• Most Thrudlike competition

• A huge raffle (last year a single prize included over £250 worth of goodies donated by Games Workshop themselves)

• The world famous Thrud Auction with painted teams, limited edition miniatures, unique items and so many dice!

To grab your space, head on over to www.thrudball.com. Tickets go on sale on the 1st March at 9am – we have a lot of space, but places do go fast – in the last two years, we have sold out within 48 hours, so be quick!

If you are an international coach, you’ll be pleased to hear that 10 tickets will be released 48 hours early. Any of these that have not been purchased will then be put on general release.

Finally this year for the first time, your place will only be reserved on full payment. If you have not paid, your place will not be safe, so remember to pay as soon as possible as tickets will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis!
