2021 Fundraising Report

We're Donating £10,000 to Charity

Thrudball 2021 finished just over a month ago, and everyone at Thrudball HQ couldn’t be happier with how it went. This year was the first year under the management of SquadChaos, and we’ve had some really positive feedback on how the event was run. Even better, thanks to the tireless efforts of everyone who pitched in, and the incredible generosity of so many people, we are immensely pleased to be able to say that we’ve raised more money in 2021 than in any other year.

This year has been a bit special, and despite (or perhaps because) of the shortage of Blood Bowl in peoples’ lives, their generosity has been more than we could expect. So, whether they’ve given up their time and skill, donated merchandise or collectables, bought raffle tickets, bid on auction items, or just come along for six games of Blood Bowl, the team at Thrudball HQ is incredibly grateful.

It’s because of all of you that we’ve been able to raise so much money. It’s because of you all that we can announce, with no little pride, that we will be donating £10,000 to charity; that’s £5,000 each to MIND and the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.

What's Happening Next?

We’re already looking to 2022 and how we can make things even better. For now, we know that we’ll be back at the Supermarine Rugby Club on the 6th and 7th August with the raffle, the auction, Most Thrudlike and of course, the best Blood Bowl tournament experience you'll find anywhere. We hope to see you there.

We also have other fundraising events going on between now and then - The SquadChaos Sylvanian Spotlight Cup in Liverpool on 13th November, The SquadChaos Christmas Cup near Chippenham on 4th December, a 12 hour Charity Painting stream on twitch on 11th December and loads more.

Keep safe!

Thor (TO), Glowworm (Head Ref) and Nazgob (Chief Igor) and the rest of the Thrudball team.
