Tournament Summary

Thrudball is an annual two day 100% Not-For-Profit Bloodbowl tournament held this year 11th - 12th August 2012 in aid of The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation at Newtown Sports and Social Club, Bognor.

Entry this year including food for the weekend ( lunch and tea on saturday, lunch on sunday) and is £30 for NAF members, £36 for Non NAF (the food option will be run on a not-for-profit basis by our caterers). Accommodation is NOT included in the ticket price BUT you CAN camp at the venue Friday and Saturday night).

up to 70 coaches will battle for 6 rounds over the 2 days, each round having a two hour time limit. At the end of the Sixth round, the player with the most tournament points will take home the Thrudball Trophy.

There are also Trophies for the Runner-Up, Best Painted, Pint-Sized Pacifiers (Stunty Cup) and Dockbowl Champion, and Awards for Best of the Rest (Third Place), Most Sporting, Most Casualties, Most Touchdowns, Best Newcomer, Comeback King, Best BRGAN, Most Thrudded (Last Place) (see Prizes Menu option) and a new award, Thrud Gurning Champion.

There will also be a Charity Auction, with many unique and interesting items available to the highest bidder, Wandering Thrud with the chance to win A FREE BEER, Dockbowl, A " Thrud Versus He-Man" Quiz plus other daft evening entertainment , a Most Thrudlike competition, Spot competitions and prizes, the all important Thrudweizer and lots of fun to be had for all.

We've even hoping to have our own Limited Edition Tournament Miniature available to THRUDBALLERS FIRST at the event.

All proceeds from the event are donated to The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, Registered charity number 1046854 .

This event is backed by Thrud’s creator Carl Critchlow, and is put together by GCN Club BRGA to promote Bloodbowl and good fun!!
